Terms
The agreement between you and us, in the shortest form we could write it and still mean it.
Version 5, 2 October 2026. Keeper Pty Ltd, Melbourne. Questions to hello@stillakeeper.com. What we do with information is on the privacy page, which is part of this agreement.
What you are agreeing to, in one paragraph
You tell us about people you care about and the dates that matter. We lay out a store of presents for each of them and show you what each one costs. You pick one, and we send it in your name once you tap to buy it. keeper itself is free: you only spend money when you choose to gift. You can stop, pause or leave whenever you like.
Your account
- You need to be 18 and able to enter a contract.
- Your email address is the account. There is no password. We sign you in with a code, or a link, that we email you, which means anybody with your inbox has your account. It is worth knowing.
- One account per person. Give us real details, and keep them current, because a stale address is a present at the wrong door.
What you are telling us about other people
This is the clause that matters most and it is the one nobody else would put third. When you add somebody, you are telling us three things and we are relying on all of them.
- You actually know them. A real relationship, of the kind where sending a present is normal and welcome.
- The details are yours to give. Their name, their dates and their address are things you already knew, not things you obtained to give to us.
- Nothing you add is meant to distress them. keeper is not a way to reach somebody who does not want to hear from you. If we think it is being used that way we will close the account, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend we would not notice.
If somebody asks us to take them out of keeper, we will, and we will not tell you they asked.
What it costs
- keeper is free. There is nothing to subscribe to and nothing to pay for remembering, for keeping people, or for their ideas.
- The gift, at the price you approve, and delivery on its own line, shown before you approve.
We make our margin inside the price of the gift, so there is nothing added on top of the figure you agreed to. The price you approve is exactly the price we charge. Prices can change for future gifts. They never change for a gift you have already approved.
Approving, and not approving
Each person you keep has a store of presents that fit their budget, and we show you what each one is and what it costs. We email you 30 days before a date so there is time to pick. Nothing is bought until you tap to buy it. That tap charges your card, and if we do not have an address for the gift yet, we ask for one straight after. We never buy a gift on our own: if you have not tapped, nothing is charged and nothing goes. If you picked something and have not tapped, we email you on the last day it can still be sent in time to say it is waiting for you.
Say no, or change it, or skip the date, and nothing goes and nothing is charged. Anything printed or personalised waits for your tap on the final design.
Getting there
We use ordinary couriers and we tell you what they tell us. A date on a proposal is our best effort and not a guarantee, because the last hundred metres belong to somebody else. If a parcel goes missing or arrives broken, tell us and we will fix it: replace it, resend it, or refund it, whichever is right.
Stopping
- Pause and we stop the reminder emails. Everything is kept, shelves included.
- Delete and the account goes the moment you tap: your email, your name, your card and your own page with it. It cannot be undone, and signing in again with the same email starts a new, empty account. A gift you have already paid for still arrives. What you told us about the people you buy for stays with keeper, and the privacy page explains what that is and why.
No lock-in and no notice period. Nothing is owed in advance, because there is nothing to owe: keeper is free, and the only money that ever moves is for a gift you bought or let us buy for you.
What we keep learning
keeper gets better at buying by learning what lands. That accumulated picture is ours, it is described on the privacy page, and it is not something you are licensing to us or lending us. Your account is yours: you can have it destroyed whenever you like, though we cannot send you a copy of it first. What you told us about the people you buy for stays with keeper, and anybody we hold something about can ask us to remove it.
Your own page
If you make a page of your own, the handle is yours to hand out and yours to hide, and you decide who can see the list. We do not list handles anywhere, we do not let anybody search for one, and we never tell you that somebody you know has an account. Do not take a handle that passes you off as somebody else, and do not put anything on your list you would not want the people you send it to reading.
Your rights under Australian law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those guarantees, and where anything here conflicts with them, they win. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss.
Beyond those guarantees, and only to the extent the law allows it, what we owe you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
The rest
- Changing these terms. If we change them in a way that affects you, we will tell you by email before the change applies to you, and you can leave rather than accept.
- Closing an account. We can close one that is being used against these terms or against the law. We will tell you why.
- The law that applies is Victoria's, and the courts there hear anything that cannot be sorted out between us. Come to us first at hello@stillakeeper.com, because almost everything can be.
- If one clause fails, the rest still stands.
